Hi, I'm Kaleah Moates – owner and director of Blanchard School of Dance. With over two decades of dance experience, my passion for movement and mentorship has been at the heart of everything I do.
My dance journey began in Colorado, where I trained in Denver and Boulder and earned spots on three elite competitive dance teams between the ages of 5 and 18. In 2005, I was honored to be selected as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader, a milestone that deepened my commitment to performance and professionalism in the dance world.
I first opened Taps N Toes Dance Studio in Robinson, Illinois, and later founded Blanchard School of Dance in 2011. While our studio started with a focus on recreational classes, we expanded to include three competitive teams just a few years ago. It has been incredible to see our dancers grow in confidence, skill, and passion.
I specialize in working with children and young adults and am deeply committed to creating a positive, inspiring environment for every student who walks through our doors. Whether it's their first class or they're preparing for competition, my goal is to help each dancer reach their fullest potential—while having fun every step of the way.
